Sixteen year old Kim Ruiz  is a Junior at Glenn high school. Kim grew up in a Spanish speaking home and is a first generation Mexican/American, her parents didn’t know much English so it wasn’t until she started going to school that she learned how to speak good English. Kim’s parents are divorced but she loves her mom. Her older brother is in the army and is going to be deployed. Kim likes to draw, eat Gluten free pretzels, and listen to hip hop/soundcloud, she also really likes to sleep. She gets sick really easily and her vision in her eyes are both different by 1.00. Kims right eye is -8.00 while her left eye is -7.00. For her future career she’d like to be an English teacher in Japan and live there.
