Final Finals Frenzy of the year

Another round of Finals Frenzy concluded May 25, with two days for students to study for their upcoming exams. The week concluded with the inaugural Grizzly Celebrations where clubs and groups sold things and students could play games.

“I had a lot of fun watching the three on three basketball games and dunking my coach and my favorite teachers,” Freshman Aubrey Jones said. “It was a fun experience  and I hope we get to do it again next year.”

While many students are exempt from their finals, some came to make up hours and study for the few tests they have to take. UIL Academics provided concessions for the event.

“I feel like it really got me prepared for the finals and I have more confidence in myself and i’m glad I came,” freshman Rene Provencio said.

At the celebration students picked up their yearbooks, bought snacks and had the opportunity to dunk a coach in a water tank.

“I am so happy to be apart of the first grizzly celebration and I hope to stay at Glenn for more exciting events,” sophomore Kendra Thomas said.  “My favorite part was the dunk tank, I got to dunk my coach and some of my favorite teachers. I had so much fun and I’m so excited for many more to come.”
