Lindsay Noethlich

Lindsay Noethlich is a teacher at Glenn High School. This is her 4th year teaching, and she teaches on level and Pre AP biology and cheer. Her favorite part of school is getting to teach and collaborate with her students! She had three kids, who now attend Glenn High School. Kylie and Kennedy Funk are both seniors, while Kaylan Funk is a freshman and is new to the school! Previously, she had two kids in high school and one in middle school. “Having all of us in one place so far has been so much easier logistically! The process has taught me that no matter how hard things are we can do hard things. Reflecting back on how far we have come in the past 3 years of two different schools I’ve learned to not take things for granted and not to sweat the small stuff.”
Lindsay looks forward to moving in more of a normal direction and getting to eventually see all of her students in person, this year. Having two kids as seniors this year comes with knowing they will soon be graduating and need to take on the world. “First of all…I’m not ready! it will be different, especially if they both move out at the same time, but as a mom it is my job to raise them to be independent adults.” Her and her kids have a very close relationship and love to spend time with her family. While being stuck at home, with three other students taking class over Zoom; she often found herself not enjoying having to teach from home. However, she very much enjoyed having all of her kids with her, going through the same thing, and would even take the time to take a couple of walks throughout the day, or have her daughters pick up some coffee!
