I really enjoy drawing because I’m able to make my own little stories and worlds. When I was a kid, I had to grow up pretty quick and take care of my sisters, so whenever I had free time, I would draw and create stories from my drawings. It became my comfort hobby. However, in middle school, none of my drawings felt right. They were missing something, and that something was a little piece of me. Back then, I was taking art class, so I only drew what I was told. Now, I don’t take art class, so it feels nice to draw whatever I want without there being a due date for it. Instead, I take photography. Photography is something I can understand. For art, the rules change and no matter what you do it’s still art. In photography, when using the rule of thirds for example, your photo might look better, so it’s flexible because you can change it to make it better. In a way, you can change your style to make it work, and even then, you can still have your own style of photography. That’s why I enjoy it so much.
