Starbucks Reviews: Secret menu success

The Thin Mint Frappuccino tasted just like thin mints. Ordering this frappuccino was awkward because I have never ordered something so complicated and was on the receiving end of a weird look from the barista. While making it, the barista cringed as she added each ingredient, turning the drink into a barf shade of green. This frosted drink is a great conversation starter and tastes just like the name implies. I recommend ordering this drink, despite its unappealing color.

In case they ask, here’s what you need to make it:

Tazo Green Tea Creme Frappuccino

2 pumps chocolate syrup

1 pump mint syrup

honey

I recently tried Starbucks newest Frappuccino, the Smoked Butterscotch Frappuccino. It has a simple milk, medium roast coffee, and ice base, with an added butterscotch flavor (which is various sugars, cream, and butter). It looks identical to the caramel Frappuccino, minus the caramel drizzle. Instead, there is pure cane sugar sprinkled over the top of the whipped cream.
The Frappuccino itself tastes very similar to the caramel Frappuccino, but is a lot sweeter with an interesting smoky aftertaste. You can taste the coffee, so if you don’t like that avoid this Frappuccino.

Overall, I’d say it’s good, but a little too sweet for me. I would drink it again, on special occasions, but not over some of Starbucks other amazing Frappuccino’s.

Starbucks has a variety of drinks, snacks, lunches, etc. You can go in and get out with an amazing cup of pike roast, or any other drink you’d like. I wanted to try one of their secret frappuccino recipes. I tried the “Lucky Charms Frappuccino.” The smooth, cool blend of a vanilla bean frappuccino base pops with white mocha syrup, along with a nice dollop of Marshmallow creates a soothing and fun taste.

I found the recipe on a Starbucks secret menu, a website where they have multiple drinks from all categories. People can even send in their own recipe. When you go up to the counter, the barista will ask for the recipe and you must explain how to make it. I would recommend people try this drink because it’s definitely one of my new favorites.
